Stream live events
GET/events
Required role: viewer. An account or token with the viewer or admin role can call this operation.
Example request
curl --request GET \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $HOSERVA_TOKEN" \
"https://$HOSERVA_HOST:8008/api/v1/events"
Server-Sent Events for job progress, disk state changes, container state changes and new notifications. Every event type is a schema in this reference, as a member type of Event.
A session authenticates the stream like any other request: the X-Hoserva-Session-Secret header goes with the cookie, so a web client reads the stream with fetch, not an EventSource, which cannot send a header. A request without it is refused with 401 unauthorized.
The job system publishes job_progress events on every state and progress change.
